RE: snake skin
You don't need to staple it to preserve it, Scrape all the meat and fat off use a spoon if you don't have a professional fish and snake scraper, salted and bundle it up in burlap,or canvas for 2 days, prepare a solution of aluminum sulfate, 1 Lbs Alumininum S. 2 pounds of salt, soak in this pickle for 3 or 4 days , rinse slightly and apply "WASCO"S SNAKE TAN OIL" presto! your snake is tanned and will remain soft.
