Absolutely no reason to apologize, I'm just wondering if maybe you had me confused with someone else back then? I do remember hearing about a fuss with my Dad being a judge one year and someone using his calls winning the contest. If I remember correctly, it was Steve Stephenson (tied with Ron Gaines?), and it was around 97 or 98. As I mentioned, I have bugled 3 times there. The first time (1990?)my Dad beat me in a tie-off, the second time (96 - 97?)I placed 3rd. That year they had the generator running right in front of where we were bugling, and a guy with a power bugle won. The last time (98 - 99?)was when it was sponsored by the RMEF and my Dad and I tied again.

Robinhood36, yes I went up to Hitt Mtn last weekend, it was my second 3D shoot in 4 years...I just don't get out to them much anymore...and my score showed it... :-(

I'm not sure if I'll make it to Stanley or not, I'm getting the itch again, but it happens every year when hunting season gets closer. If I can find time to shoot my bow between now and then, I might try.If for some reason I do make, there will be no head butting with Chad, and I say the winner buys the drink with the winnings! I'd be more than happy to if I was lucky enough to win, and I'd take a pop from Chad if he beat me as well!
