I shot competetivley from 1965-1985. I still have three of my recurves, my original Wing prototype compound from 1974 and the last two compounds I bought were a pair of QuadraFlex split-limbs from around 1980(you probably haven't heard of any of them)(PSE was a brand new company back then Two of the recurves are Bears and the last one is a Palmer/Partners(withBobLee). In other words I haven't spent a dime on archery in 15yrs. I have shelves of championship trophies- couldn't care less- haven't shot league in 20yrs- don't shoot in the shops- I practice in my backyard and bowhunt with my Bear takedown & the Palmer- screw em all- They're just a bunch of shallow people caught up in having the latest toys. get your stick and go hunting- that's what it's all about!
