What it really boils down to has nothing to do with the actual archery equipment. It has everything to do with smart aleck, egotistical, guys with small sex organs. (that is the nicest thing I can think of to say about them and not have this post edited by the mods.lol) I've been thru the same exact thing you have. These guys think they are Fred Bear and that everyone else is an idiot.

The only thing I can say is, try to find another bow shop. These know-it-all types are abundant in the sport of archery. They are also the guys who like to pound their chest and tell the world how ethical they are. To be honest these guys are the main reason that I rarely visit this bow hunting msg board anymore. (I'm only talking about a few guys here and some of them are probably gone by now)

I am now driving about 15 minutes further to an archery shop but they are awesome. They don't care what bow you shoot or what brand of equip. you have it rigged out with. The owner told me that unlike other shops he isn't going to insult the people who are coming into his shop to spend their hard earned money. He also doesn't let the know-it-all's types hang around his place.
