What it boils down to is hype, money and prestige. There are good bows made by many manufacturers, not just one or two. I wouldn't mind shooting a Hoyt or Matthews but I would not shoot any better than I do now using my current bow. Fact: in most pro shops and ranges, what is selling and making the most money by the owners and its shooters will be pushed. I don't listen to the hype. I shoot what feels best for me, that is what is most important.......not the brand.

In many instances cosmetics influence the buyer a lot.
