Default Archery shop snobs...............

Just wanted to know if any others out there that ,shoot less than top of the line bows get this to.While I've owned a few brands of bows,I've only owed 1 that,in it's day would be considered a high end bow.that is my circa 92 pearson spoiler.Any way,I picked up a left over Fred bear Quest,It was at a local sports authority store,a disply model. It was just my size and left handed to boot!So after a little dickering with the manager,I walked out the store with the bow for a bit over $75.00.I've set it up with,in my opinion, top of the line accessories,in fact I;ve spent easily 5 times the bow price on parts, but yet when i go to the range (shop) the people there are constantly trying to up sell me to a Mathews,Bowtech, hoyt pick one!
This in spite of the fact, that my shooting rivals some of thier best shooters, with thier $700.00 super bows.I just don't understand why they look down thier collective noses at my set up,and feel compelled to try to get me to spend 10 times more on a new bow?Does anyone else get this treatment? For the record my set up is.......
Fred bear Quest 29in/60lbs(split recurve limbs dual cams)
copper john dead nuts sight
Mirage drop away rest
NAP shock blocker 1000
Alpine soft lock 3 arrow quiver
Sims limb saver equip.(limbs$string siliencers)
Fine line zero peep
Ultra nok XL
True fire split fire release
Cabela's carbon camo arrows (black hawks)
Grim reaper 85gr. broad heads& 85gr. field points
