A little over 7 lbs . I have the whole battle on video tape. I have another 7 mounted. It's in my classroom by my fish bulletin board
I use fishing trips as incentives to get kids reading.
I teach 3rd grade.

PS I live in Florida and should have caught bigger fish. No excuses. They seem to strike hard and fast when I least expect it. I'll be drifting a 10" worm for an hour daydreaming then POW! rod bends over ,she feel s me and lets go.
That has happened about 10 times.
