Default RE: Knives

I have 2 cigar boxes full of pocket, foldingand sheath knives. I'm not a collector, just an accumulator. I also have 2 machetes wich I think is the best yard tool ever invented.

Daily I carry a Victornox, Equire. Just relized it's not in my pocket. Dang, now I have to search the laundry.

I keep a leatherman in the truck and have another (cerrated blade and scissor) that I carry in a horizontal sheath on the weekends, camping, fishingand general outdoor activities. I don't clean fish with it, though. I use a Rapala for that.

For upland game I usually carry my leatherman or a case folder. I have a French made knife (sorry forgot the name) that has a wood handle, carbon steel blade, folds and locks the blade by rotating a metal cuff at the top of the handle. Carry it frequently because it is so light and sharp. It was made for gardening but I've found other uses.

I'm going on my first deer hunt this year (late bloomer) and will carry a Buck Alpha folder with gut hook and the plastic handles and a Buck 118. I just got the Alpha, but I've had the 118 since I was 10. I will probably pick up a light saw as well.

I'm dying to have a K-bar combat knife. Thos are just a great looking and feeling knife.
