If your serving is getting too thin, replace it. Mine was thin until recently. When I was at about 3/4 draw it slipped through the release and shot the arrow a foot or so above my target. The arrow hasn't been seen since. That isn't the real problem. I shoot open handed without a wrist strap. The bow jumped out of my hand and did acouple of hard bounces. It has been fixed. It could have been destroyed.
