I too use the Bitzenburger jig with a right helical clamp. It took me awhile to set it up, but now that I look at it, it is very easy. All you have to do is move the jig until it sits about 1/4" to the right of the markings. I can do that in 5 seconds. It does take awhile to fletch a dozen arrows, but it does one heck of a job. I have heard of people having their Bitzenburgers last over 30 years. Plus the jig is all metal and very sturdy.
