I just picked up a Bitzenberger with a right helical clamp because I wanted to use different vanes and helical. Very few stock fletched shafts come in anything but offset. After an hour of messing around trying to figure out how to set the jig up correctly I got the hang of it. After that it took me about 2 hours to fletch upa half dozen Gold Tip XT Hunters with 2" Blazers with right helical. I have yet to shoot them, but they look almost as good a factory fletched arrows and I have high hopes that they'll shoot as well as they look. Using the lighter vanes brought the FOC right to 10%, where it had been closer to 8% before, wich is about perfect if what I've read about FOC is correct. From now on I'm goingto savemoney and buybare shafts from my shop, have them cut there and I'll assemble the inserts and fletch them myself exactly the way I want them.
