Those cheap shells probely patteren for SH!T .
The cheap shells use the cheapest soft shot ,wads and powder.
Patteren the loads and compair to AA ,STS or Gold Medal loads .
With reloads you can duplate the high $$ loads for lots less

If you want to shoot higher scores YES it is worth it.
For pheasants I load 1 1/4 oz of hard 6 at 1440 fps.
It cost me about $3.90 a box to load , Cabelas sell a close Federal load for $10.99

I am using the kent loads which I buy for avery reasonableprice but they pattern quite well in my shotgun.
