Just about any 130, 140, or 150 grain .270 soft point is going to work for mule deer. I have used the 130 gr. Swift Scirocco's quite a bit with very good results. They also have about the highest actual (not advertised) ballistic coefficient of any bullet in that weight. If your gun will shoot them, I don't think you would be disappointed in the Scirocco.
