I bought the barrel from Jerry Cunningham at Orion Barrels out of Kalispell MT. He made me a nice 27" tapered barrel from 1 1/8 to 1" at the muzzle. I asked for him to make me a light weight for hunting elk, and he did.

They also carry some big ones, not sure what diameters they make them in.

I asked Jerry about the loads, and he told me "what ever I could stand.........most of the boys started at 175FF and went up to 225FF."

190 ROARS and 225 is almost too much![X(]
