Welcome aboard! If I were you, I'd dedicate 3 broadheads to practice with if you are gointg to use them on a regular basis. The blades will definitely start to dull even after one shot into the hay, let alone numerous shots. Consider them your practice broadheads. Then, before you go out to hunt, take one shot with the actual (new) broadhead and shaft that you'll be using to ensure accuracy, and make sure to sharpen it on on a sharpening stone before taking it out in the field.
