Well...September 26th I had 2 bucks walk under me going into the alfalfa field. The first buck was a 2 1/2 8 pt...I drew on him anticipating him to turn, as I lined him up at 8 yards I heard another deer under me...the first buck acted nervous and started walking away. I made up my mind to shoot him because he was in velvet. He picked up the pace at thirty yards and I grunted to stop him...Then I heard a snort from under me and the first buck ran off and so did the deer under me, wich to my dismay was a 140 class 10 in velvet. 2 weeks later I arrowed this buck out of the same stand. Not nearly as big as the 10...
