Has anyone wondered why they call it this? I watched this movie again after buying it on dvd about a month ago and this thought just came in to my head. This movie could not be any more off the mark as far as accuracy is concerened. I know that it is an old movie, made in the forties and all, but my god, it is so far from the mark it isn't funny. Everything about it is a farce. Yeah, its a disney flick and all, but I cannot believe that firms such as PETA actually use it as a basis for a front against hunters. (PETA being a misnomer considering they are all a serious bunch of hypocrits) I told my wife after watching Bambi that it was an absolute horrid movie, from just about every aspect. I doubt that my daughter will ever watch it in my presence because I know I would just not shut up about all its discrepencies. wonder what all of your thoughts are on it.
