well this is actually a tip for catching cat fish but i'm sure it could work for carp too..take a piece of nylon or some off of pantyhose...about 3-5 inches wide and put some corn in that..like 10-20 pieces or even more..how ever much you can fit.. and then tie the nylon so none comes out...this way it gives it extra smell and unless he takes the whole bag off ur hook you can count on ur bait staying on for a while..also get a bright color...white or you can paint it yellow
