Well, After seeing all of the qualified opinion here on this discussion, I went to gander mountain to take a look. Ends up, that they have a NEF single in the current flavors of 7mm08, 223 and 243. I think that the .243 would make a nice addition to the current 30-06 I have. It is only $199.00 and seems like a quality peice. It comes with weaver type scope mounts and a pretty thgick barrel that is 22 inches long. Now, Any opinion on this rifle? I really done have much more cash than this so keep that in mind with suggestions. Thanks everyone! EJ
