Michigan allows 3 bait stations per hunter starting 30 days prior to opening day. Only meat and meat products, bakery/confectionary products, fish and fish products prior to opening of deer season. Thereafter grain, fruits & veggies, salt and minerals may be used in limited quantities, i.e. less than 5 gal./station. Bait must be placed on the ground and containers cannot be used such as pails, tires, barrels, plastic, wood, glass, fabric, etc.
