Take a look at Richard's Microfit gunstocks. They will be as close to "drop-in" as you'll find and I think look better than Boyd's.
While I agree they look better, in my experience with three Savage stocks from Richard's they are far from "drop-in". It took quite a bit of careful sanding, fitting and bedding to get them right.
