The farther you travel from home, the more stuff you need to bring! If traveling internationally, you best have a set of tools with you. The Leatherman-type tools are great. I always have one in my fanny pack. Allen wrenches are a must. A set of Pliers, if it's not on your Leatherman-type tool, etc.

You don't need a whole big tool box, but a small set of tools and some basic items can really make a difference if you are sitting in a bush camp in Namibia with a broken bow!
