RE: Crooked Limbs on Mathews Q2?
Natty,
I can promise you that all manufacturers have a bad bow from time to time.I am not a Mathews fan but they build a decent bow.Remember how many bows they have out there and then think about how many have problems.
I will guarantee that the % with Mathews is MUCH lower than it is with Martin.I have seen a few of there bows have bad problems. Not bashing there product but they have a few bad ones as well as Hoyt,Bowtech,Parker.Whatever company you want to name there are some problems somewhere.
We really don't need to get into bow bashing. It really does no one any good.
Getting back to the question at hand.Is there any idler lean.Maybe the problem is there and not with the limbs. If the cables are not installed properly, you can get idler lean. This can be helped by twisting the cable on the side that the bottom of the idler is pointing to.
I have not personally had the limbs off of a Mathews so I can't say one way or the other about the limbs not being seated properly.I would think it would be hard to not get it right but not for sure.
I would definately get the shop involved. If they can't get it,try calling Mathews.
