Default RE: Archery Shop pricing

I don't mind paying a little more at a shop because I would rather give my business to a local guy than I would BassPro or Walmart etc. BUT $20 more on accessories is a BIG markup and I don't think I would be willing to pay that much more especially on items like releases that don't require any of the shops time. If it was an accessory that they put on or something then maybe.

I doubt I would say anything. I wouldn't want to burn a bridge or start a confrontation. I would leave that door open so that when I was in a crunch and really needed something I could go there and get it. When I wasn't in a crunch I would by from the mass merchants or from a shop that was cheaper. Sooner or later he will get the picture. You want to see a guy succeed and make money etc. but what he has to understand is that he can't make it all on one sale. JMO
