When I first shot my Golden Eagle, I fired it once and was ready to put it back on the hanger and never touch it again. I told the salesman this, he grabbed a generic stabilizer off the shelf and WOW!, what a difference. I would never have believed it, the difference it made was amazing.

If that bow that you fired didn't have a stabilzer/dampener on it, I would say, give it another try.
