velocity is no help at hitting. The control of the trigger and the sight alignment are the limiting factors, not the ammo. No one has ever proven that he can reliably hit a man's 10" chest circle, beyond 25m, while he was actually under fire. Either they got lucky with one shot, or they fired many times, missed the chest with more than half of their shots, and thus, PROVED that the chest hits were pure luck. 50-50 hit ratio is just like getting heads in a coin toss. Pure luck.
Not only that, but you can get a 55 gr bullet going 2100 fps in a 5" 9mm, so why would you pay those ridiculous prices for the 5.7 ammo, hmm?
