If it early season and the temps are nice I will not use face paint or head net,just a ball cap in camo of course.My stands are placed on an average of 20 feet and cover.I feel its not necessary to.
Now on the other hand,when it gets COLD in nov and dec(-20c)without the windchill then I will wear a face mask to keep warm.I love hunting in the cold.I can spend a long time on stand if dressed properly,and if your head isn't covered properly then you wont last to long
