@ HighDesertWolf.....in CANADA,airguns are limited to 500fps ! ...any more than that and they are considered firearms and must be registered as such.You can purchase a Beeman for eg. ,but only if you are properly licensed and it is reg. in your name.so why spend hundreds of dollars and license a pellet gun when you can get a .22 ??
This is all a part of our governments ingenious 2 billion dollar scam known as Bill C-68 (gun control/registration).[:'(]

Now for the really stupid part (yes,it gets worse!)......
A .177 caliber air rifle which fires a 8 grain pellet at 700 fps (just an eg.)..is considered a firearm and must be reg'd and the owner licensed.

A .50 caliber flintlock pushing out a ball of lead at..1000 fps(??).
...is considered an antique and somehow not as dangerous so it does not have to be registered or the owner licensed.

Which would you rather be in front of.......?
