Im with adams on this one. I 90% of the deer I shoot are on pass throughs. I have shot a couple big does on steep quartering away shots that didnt pass through, but I watched both fall at less than 80 yards.

Its not a bad idea for turkeys though. I have shot a couple turkeys with the bow that didnt leave a blood trail. With a good expandable shot on a turkey you will kill it but the arrow wont go through, leaving you only a entrance hole, and Ive have a buddy who shot a turkey with a fixed blade through the lungs and had to have a dog track it! Definatly wouldnt use it on anything else.
