While I'm all for 100% animal recovery I think this is going too far. Besides crossing the line of fair chase (which I hold deer) it may give people or new hunters especially, a false sense of "security" that a marginal hit can be tracked and recovered.

If you put your arrow into the boiler room there is no need for a tracking devise. The blood trail will be more then suficient.

Not to mention I like the anticipation of following a blood trail.
