Default RE: GEORGIA MYSTERY

I have heard about panther myths all of my life in AL and MS as well ! I never paid much attention and felt like most folks were misinterpretting what they saw or heard !

But last weekend I found a freshly killed adult wild hog in a creek bottom that made me think a little different ! It had been bitten on the snout and it snout broken in front of it's eyes (no doubt killing it). It had all of it's internals removed but no meat was eaten (at that point)......the stomach and some other organs were scattered up a trail.....but all other organs were gone. The only tracks in the creek bottom were hogs, racoons, and a big cat track about as big as my fist . There was only one set of cat tracks and I found some of the same tracks but older farther down the creek ! I can't explain it........didn't see it........but the tracks were too big for a bobcat, coyote, dog, etc. ! I changed my mind about the possibility ! BTW......this was lower AL !
