New arrows...
Hey guys,
Yesterday I went to the pro-shop and I was planning on getting a dozen Gold Tip Pro-Hunter 75/95's made up but they don't carry them anymore so I was looking around and I decided to give the Easton ST Axis 300's a shot. I am getting a dozen made up to 28.5" with 4" Duravanes (neon green cock vane and 2 white). I havn't tried these arrows but I have heard alot of good things about them so I figured I would give them a shot. If I don't like them, a buddy of mine shoots the same arrows and he said he would buy them off me.
From what I am figuring, they should weigh in right around 463 grains and I should be shooting them around 285 f.p.s. That will give me around 85 ft-lbs of KE. What I am looking forward to is to see how much noise/vibration differance there is between these and my Gold Tips which weighed in around 395 grains. Will the extra 70 grains make a noticeable differance?
What are some of you guy's experiences with these arrows?
