i like the laminate stocks because i have read they are very tough and strong. most of the laminated stocks are also weather resistant. they also feel great, just like wood.the synthetic stocks are good too, i just don't like the feel of them. they are very durable and weather resistant, not to mention lighter than most stocks. any good stock should last a lifetime.
