I'm in the laminated stock group. Just do not like the cheep looks of synthetic stocks and although I really like the looks of a good piece of walnut, I found myself babying it when in the field. With laminated stocks you get the look of wood and the durability of synthetic. They are also quite stout due to the laminating process.

Here's a pic of my Rem 700 Mountian LSS which has a laminated stock.



I know some folks don't like the looks of laminated stocks, but personally I think they look great.
