In defense of Big Green, this situation is extremely rare. Even rarer on a gun that has never been tweaked for a better trigger pull. But possible. That's why the "never point a gun at anything you are not willing to destroy" rule of gun safety was developed.

The only completely stock guns I have personally run across that would do this had been sprayed with WD-40 at one time- into the trigger mechanism.
