I have and use both! I agree a wood stock is nicer looking however, durability has to go to synthetic. Another note synthtic is lighter as well. You need to look at both and weigh your options, find what is more conducive to your specific application. Do not buy a gun you are unhappy with just because others like one style or the other. Both are good and have their purposes. I use both!
