As I have said before on a couple different threads congrats on the great buck. It is an outstanding scoring animal with more than enough character to go around.
But, what first got me in this thread is that you said....
I know its tuff to do if from just pictures but I would still like your honest opinions.
You get an "honest" reply from a couple members and you turn it into a childish banter about jealousy, respecting your elders and how hard you worked for the deer because they don't agree with you.
If you want to receive "props" from your fellow hunters for how hard you worked for your deer then harvest your animals on DIY hunts. Anyone can go to an outfitter with an excellent buck herd and be shown where to sit to harvest "book" deer. You did a fine job but IMO a huge accomplishment it is not.
As to the original question. I think the mount looks great. There is no way to tell if it is competition quality from a pic but my guess would be that it is a fine commercial mount. A competition quality mount would run you $1000 or more for a shoulder mount.
