I guess the closer to the season it gets the more riding and looking my uncle is doing. He is the hunt master of our hunt club and he goes out and rides the fields and looks for deer. Last year he said that ho only saw 1 mountable deer and that is not to say there weren't more because you do not see all of the deer. He also is older and has been hunting all of his life so whe he says it a mountable deer it is a good deer!! The other night he said he saw 10 mountable deer in only 6 different fields. He said that in one field there was 4 that were huge!!! We have gone to a 15 inch wide or 12 inch tall rule and the deer are able to get older so we are seeing bigger deer. I can not wait for the season.
