Default RE: sniper rifle for hunting?

ORIGINAL: bronko22000

wyzeguy9, you sound like one of those anti-gun activists using a term like sniper rifle.
Now if you're referring to a synthetic stocked, heavy barreled bolt action rifle with a high magnification scope then you would be hard pressed not to try a Remington 700 in, man I hate to say this, but in .308 Win chambering.
Wholly cow bronko22000... (here we go again!)
Why would i put a pic of my rifle up on this site if i were an "anti-gun activists " ? (you may want to go the the 308 to avoid being knocked around by the 300 - its taking a toll )

This is a (there are more than one kind) snipers rifle. It is designed to snipe. (yes my rifle is the same r5 milspec barell )
