RE: Treestand...
I've got a two year old summit viper and a new API Grand Slam Bowhunter. Since these are the only two I've used with the exception of an old Amacker Deer Thief (ouch my butt hurts thinking about it!), my nod goes to the Summit. No pins, no aligning up holes for the chain, quick pull straps for the feet, the safety harness has quick pull straps and the attach rope is light with no bulky detachment buckle that goes clang against the stand. The quick-pull strap summit sends to hold up the upper half on the tree (stabilizer)is quick and light and also holds both halves together tight when packed. I do like API's ditty bag and velcro covered arm pads. Both are comfortable and quiet, but the Summit is a little slicker to use. JMHO
