Ouchigan, I take my 6 yr old son shooting 3D. We have a ball. He calls the animals before shooting. He's gotten 2 trophies so far, and is almost as proud of them as I am. It takes a little longer to shoot with him, but that's not all bad. Getting our kids involved in the outdoors is very important, IMO.
