RE: which 3-9 scope
The only low priced scope I have is a Bushnell Banner DDB 3-9X40mm. This scope is mounted on my muzzleloader. I've thought alot about putting a higher priced model on it but really can't find a reason too. The scope is bright in low light and the internal adjustments are very accurate. I compared the brilliance of this scope against a Leupold vari-X II that I had and the cheap Bushnell was brighter. It has held up for 4 years on my Knight muzzleloader and has handled 150 gr charges of Pyrodex pellets with no problems so far. This scope is listed in Cabelas for $79.99. I think the scope is definitely worth this price. Like I stated this is the only cheap scope that I own but I can say that I've been completely satisfied with its performance. The other scopes I own are Leupold, Swarovski, Nikon, & Bushnell Elite 4200's.
