Last year I picked up a Hoyt Vipertec because I got a great deal on it. It wasn't the exact bow I wanted, but it was still a great bow and for the price I couldn't pass it up. I shot it for a year, took a deer with it, but I was just never really 100% happy because deep down I wanted something else. So this year I sucked it up, shot a bunch of new bows, and ended up with the one that suited me best and I enjoyed shooting the most.
Now I am living in the throes of poverty with all the money I spent on a new setup, but at least I'm happy.
