The spurs were fairly small comapred to the beard. Last year's gobbler was 18 pounds 10 3/4 inch beard and 21 millimeter spurs. This bird was 20 pounds 11 inch beard and 18 millimeter spurs. No big difference to me, they both tasted delicious!
