RE: loctite or somesuch for mounting scope?
i have used the loctite. not the one that is permanent. it think it is the one in the blue tube.cause if you decide to take it off all you have to do is just un screw the screws.
i use it on my williams peep sight on my marlin 1895M in 450marlin and they stay on tight. also have used them on williams peep sights on my old rem 7600's and rem 7400.
