This was the same problem I found with the Mathews SQ2 that I shot. The 29" draw length was at least a inch longer than the 29" draw on my Martin. The valley was so short, that you didn't want to creep an 1/8" or it would try to rip your shoulder out. No inch of valley here, much less an inch to the middle of the valley. Of course, it had a nice 8 1/2" brace height and shot very nicely, but I saw this as the mfgr's attempt to get more perceived speed out of a relatively slow, forgiving hunting bow.
