Ohio_3Der, Like I said before it's a long story but,I'll try to condense it a little. The 2000 bows were measured from the middle of the valley as AMO measurments are defined however the way bows are measured has been changed over the years. Now everybody measures from the back of the wall not the middle of the valley. In BowTech's 2000 owners manual it explains how they measure draw length so they weren't trying to pull one over on people but rather do things by the book. They did however get alot of negative feedback about it so they took that into consideration and changed the way they measure draw length. Your right the bows speeds didn't change which is proof that the way they were measuring draw length wasn't to try to mislead the public. Since they were measuring from the valley it's where speed comes from and not from the end of the power stroke on back i.e. the wall. I hope this clears things up and by the way if you'll look in the Archers Almanac it defines AMO draw lengh measurement.
