A good hunter hunts safe and obtains clean quick kills so the animals do not suffer.Most of all he doesn't judge other hunters methods as long as they are legal and within the game regulations.
Agreed, I have said it ton lately it is a personal sport so what i hold as important may not rain true with the next guy, however chances are he is as inpassioned about it as I. One big fraterity with different cultures!!!
I may add in my opinion a good hunter is also a student of the game in which he persue's. This means practice, scouting, knowing your abilities and limitations, etc.
