The insert that accepts the broadhead is usually cemented in with a heat sensitive cement. In other words, if you heat the arrow near the broadhead end, the insert will turn freely after the cement (epoxy) runs warm. I do this with the broadhead in place, and when the heat relases the insert, I just turn the broadhead to be lined up the way I want and then let it cool to re-set the cement/epoxy.
