Default RE: Do You Stand/ Sit in Your Stand ?

I used to use the almost standing seated method and the standing most of the time method, but my knee is funky from years of hockey so I have to sit a lot now. I have shot the my last 7 deer with a bow from the seated position. I see some of the benefits of standing that NJ-Bowhunter and some others mentioned, but I want to bring up some benefits of sitting.

1. Don't get physically tired. I personally get fidgety if I stand too long and my arm gets tired from holding the bow.

2. Human form is broken up. Deer recognize humans as a vertical figure. When sitting that figure is broken up.

3. Different perspective. Someone had mentioned this earlier I believe.

Both methods have their merits, so I would say whatever you are comfortable with. I would say to definitely practice both so you can be effective either way. Good luck.
